Living Wage Rate Announced

The Living Wage Foundation have announced today the Real Living Wage rates for 2025-2026. The new rates are £13.45 across the UK and £14.80 in London.

Living Wage Employers should implement the new rates as soon as possible and by 1^st May 2026 at the latest. This annual update ensures that pay keeps pace with the real cost of living, ensuring all employees are supported to achieve a decent standard of living.

The Real Living Wage is the only UK wage rate that is independently calculated based on what people need to live on, covering everyday costs like food, energy and transport.

EVH full member salary scales recognise the Real Living Wage as the bottom point of the scale.
