Maintenance Officer

Reidvale Housing Association is entering a new phase focused on stability, improvement and long-term investment in our homes and neighbourhoods.

Following an internal promotion, we are looking for a Maintenance Officer to help deliver our repairs, maintenance and investment programmes. Working closely with our Senior Maintenance Officer, you will help provide a high-quality, responsive and customer-focused service.

You will join at an exciting time as we implement our new Community Investment Plan, begin our 20-year stonework repair programme and deliver new investment programmes shaped by tenant feedback and surveys of our homes.

You will manage reactive, planned and cyclical maintenance, carry out pre, post and void inspections, monitor contractors and help ensure work is completed safely, on time and to a high standard. You will also support investment programmes, medical adaptations and compliance work, while helping to improve performance and value for money.

This varied and visible role will see you manage the Maintenance Assistant and work closely with colleagues, contractors and customers. Your technical knowledge, judgement and customer focus will directly influence our homes and the experience of those who live in them.
