We are a community-based housing association located in the north west of Glasgow. We manage nearly 4,350 homes and provide tenancy support and community development activities to enhance the local area.

We are looking for candidates with a positive attitude and the ability to build strong working relationships with their colleagues.

Housing Officer x 2 (35 hrs) Grade 7, £32,298 - £34,874

We are recruiting for permanent Housing Officers within our Woodside Neighbourhood, which through our recent tenant profile identified as a very diverse community with around 17% of tenants coming from a Chinese background.  We are proud to have won the CIH ‘Outstanding approach to Equality and Diversity’ 2018 award for our Sharing Lives Sharing Spaces work carried out within the Woodside Neighbourhood.

The successful candidate must have a clear commitment to continuing this good work and ensure a clear commitment to community development within the Neighbourhood can be shown.  This is a generic position with the team and includes; arrears management, void & letting management, estate management including anti-social complaints.  A key role of the post is to be actively involved in our community engagement work and support our communities to meet their aspirations.

The post-holder will be expected to meet the competency levels expected of all Queens Cross staff particularly with emphasis on attitude, behaviours’ and a customer first approach, and whilst, it is not essential to the role, a candidate who to speak Mandarin or Cantonese is desirable.
