At Elderpark Housing, the safety of our tenants, residents, staff and visitors is our highest priority.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and proactive Tenant Safety Officer to lead and co-ordinate our landlord compliance and health and safety activities across our housing stock, office accommodation and commercial properties.

You will play a key role in ensuring we meet our legal, regulatory and organisational responsibilities while helping shape the culture of safety, assurance and continuous improvement.
Working within our Asset Management Team, you will collaborate with senior managers, contractors, colleagues across the organisation to ensure that Elderpark remains compliant, informed and focused on protecting tenants and residents.
As Tenant Safety Officer, you will take a leading role in managing and monitoring the Associations compliance responsibilities in the key safety areas including; Gas safety; Electrical safety; Fire Safety; Asbestos Management; Legionella and water safety; Lift safety; Damp and mould; Scottish Housing Quality Standards (SHQS); Energy efficiency and environmental standards.
You will oversee compliance programmes, manage contractor performance, maintain accurate records and systems, monitor risks and remedial actions and provide meaningful performance and compliance reporting to support effective decision making. The role also included responsibility for supporting the organisations internal health and safety arrangements.
We're looking for a proactive and organised professional with experience in compliance, tenant safety or property management. You will have a strong understanding of landlord compliance requirements, excellent attention to detail and experience of working with contractors, managing compliance records and producing performance reports.
You will be confident using IT systems, able to manage competing priorities and possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Most importantly, you will be committed to delivering high-quality services, maintaining safe homes and ensuring the highest standards of compliance for our tenants and communities.
