Help us support people to build and sustain a secure home

Reidvale Housing Association is looking for a compassionate, practical and relationship focused Tenancy Support Officer to join our Housing and Communities team.

This is a new role with a clear purpose, to provide early, person centred support to tenants who may be finding it difficult to establish or sustain their home, and to people moving into a Reidvale tenancy following homelessness.

You will work directly with tenants, taking the time to understand what is happening in their lives and helping them identify practical ways forward before difficulties become a crisis. That could mean helping someone access furniture or household essentials, connecting them with welfare, debt, energy, health or other specialist support, advocating on their behalf, or simply providing consistent support to help them take the next steps.

You will manage your own caseload and work closely with Reidvale colleagues, The Halliday Foundation and other partners across Glasgow. The role will involve office and community based working, home visits and outreach, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable building relationships with people in a range of settings.

We are more interested in your ability to build trust, listen, exercise good judgement and support people effectively than in a particular professional background.  You may have experience in housing, homelessness, community work, welfare, social care, support services or another people focused role. Transferable experience is very welcome.

In return, Reidvale offers a supportive working environment, 40 days annual leave including public holidays, and a pension with matched employer contributions of up to 13%.

We are open to direct recruitment, a secondment from another organisation, or another suitable arrangement that enables the right person to take up the role.

How to apply

Please complete the Reidvale Housing Association application form, explaining how you meet the person specification contained within the recruitment pack, and return it to recruitment@reidvale.org.uk.  You can download the recruitment pack from our website.

CVs will not be accepted in place of a completed application form.

For an informal conversation about the role, or to discuss a possible secondment or alternative arrangement, please contact William Boale, Head of Housing and Communities, at william.boale@reidvale.org.uk.

Closing date: 9:00 am, Monday 19 October 2026
Interview date: Monday 26 October 2026

Reidvale Housing Association is committed to equality, diversity and inclusion.  We welcome applications from people with different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives, and aim to make our recruitment process fair, respectful and accessible.
