Technical Services Assistant

Hours: 9-5 Monday-Thursday, 9-4 Friday = Full time, 35 hours per week.

You will be working alongside our experienced team of Technical Services Officers, supporting them on a day to day basis whilst learning new skills and enhancing your knowledge in Social Housing. If you like to work in a fast moving and reactive environment with a varied workload and have excellent customer care and organisational skills, we would love to hear from you.
You will provide assistance with the running of Clydesdale HA’s Technical Services Department, including;
- being the first point of contact for our tenants;
- logging and processing reactive repairs, including void property repairs;
- monitoring contractor’s performance to ensure our targets are met and our tenants receive the best possible service;
- Assist with all the administration of our factoring service to our owners;
- Supporting our tenants with our planned and cyclical maintenance contracts;
- General administrative support required in respect of the Technical Services Department
A competence in using IT packages will be required and you should be committed to delivering excellent customer service. You must be a confident communicator, have good organisational skills with the ability to plan and organise your workload whilst working to tight deadlines and reacting to the needs of our tenants on a daily basis.
The post holder will be expected to meet the competency levels expected of all Clydesdale HA staff with a particular emphasis on attitude, behaviours and a people focus.
