The Vacancy
Role Description:
The role of Senior Finance Officer forms a key part of the Cunninghame Housing Association Finance function, delivering on the mission, vision and values of the organisation and helping us meet our strategic objectives.
The Senior Finance Officer will support the Finance Manager and budget holders in the preparation of regular management accounts and assist with the production of year end accounts and all associated activity. The role is also central to ensuring that the following finance functions achieve their key strategic objectives:
- Assisting with year end audit processes.
- Preparation of management accounts.
- Completion of returns to external agencies.
The successful candidate must be highly motivated, have excellent attention to detail and possess accurate and efficient working methods. A strong team player will compliment your ability to effectively communicate clearly with all levels of the organisation. You must have excellent MS Office skills, with advanced excel skills being an essential aspect of the role.
Experience with financial management accounting systems is crucial to the role and possessing a HNC, AAT, degree in a relevant financial discipline would be advantageous.
