We're looking for an enthusiastic People Officer to join our People Team and help us deliver an exceptional employee experience across Clyde Valley Group.
As our People Officer, you'll be a trusted source of advice and support for managers and colleagues, helping to create a workplace where everyone can thrive. From welcoming new colleagues on their first day to supporting wellbeing initiatives, delivering training, analysing people data, and improving processes, you'll play a key role in shaping our culture and colleague experience.
This is a true generalist People role that offers the perfect balance of operational activity, relationship building, project work and continuous improvement.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll have the opportunity to:
✅ Lead and coordinate end-to-end recruitment and onboarding
✅ Welcome and support new colleagues through engaging induction experiences
✅ Act as a trusted first point of contact for People advice and guidance
✅ Champion colleague wellbeing and help bring our Wellbeing Commitment to life
✅ Coordinate learning and development activities that help colleagues grow and succeed
✅ Support managers with employee relations and absence management matters
✅ Produce meaningful people data and insights that influence decision-making
✅ Manage and improve our People systems, processes and records
✅ Support Equity, Diversity and Inclusion initiatives that create a sense of belonging for everyone
✅ Get involved in exciting People projects that help shape the future of our organisation

You'll ideally have experience in HR/People administration and advisory work, along with a strong understanding of employment legislation and people practices.
A CIPD Level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience) is essential.
