Landscaping & Grounds Maintenance Squad Leader
Hours: Full Time (35 hours per week), Monday - Friday.
An exciting opportunity has arisen, to be part of our in-house landscape and grounds maintenance team. This role will first and foremost be responsible for maintaining the grounds of the Association’s customers, including existing tenants, potential tenants, and owner occupiers, under the direction of the Project Co-ordinator via the Supervisor.
Key responsibilities include but will not be limited to, undertaking the full range of soft landscaping and grounds maintenance duties. You will be an allocated driver operating our company vehicles, assist with organising, planning and delivery of the programme of works, oversee and motivate a small team on a day-to day basis whilst working on location, ensure successful completion of assigned tasks, making sure the works are completed to a high standard, ensure H&S policies and procedures are followed at all times and assist with customer queries.
Candidates must have strong practical experience in various soft landscaping tasks. Previous experience in a similar role is essential. The right candidate for this role will have good all-round communication skills, an organised, flexible, proactive approach to work and be focused on the delivery of excellent customer service. Candidates should have a full clean driving licence.
