About Us

Queens Cross Housing Association is a community rooted organisation with a clear vision of delivering excellent housing within thriving neighbourhoods. The association manages close to 4,500 homes across an area that extends north from Glasgow city centre along both sides of the Forth and Clyde Canal. Its portfolio reflects the character of the city, from traditional sandstone tenements to deck access developments and modern flats, offering a mix of housing that meets a wide range of needs.

Role Overview

This is an important leadership role within Queens Cross Housing Association Property and Placemaking Directorate, responsible for shaping and delivering the Association’s capital investment and major works programmes. The role helps ensure that homes are safe, well maintained, future focused and able to meet the needs of customers, communities and the business.

The Investment Manager will lead projects and programmes from early feasibility through to completion, bringing structure, pace and commercial discipline to each stage. They will ensure work is properly scoped, procured, budgeted, risk assessed and delivered to agreed standards, timescales and financial limits.

You will lead a £7m capital investment programme improving homes and communities across North West Glasgow. This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping and delivering major investment in homes and places, while bringing fresh thinking, strong delivery discipline and commercial insight to projects that make a visible difference.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a confident property, construction or project delivery professional who can lead people, manage complexity and deliver high-quality investment projects of a value of around £7m per year. The successful candidate will bring experience of procurement, contract management, project management, budget control, team leadership and risk management.

This opportunity would suit candidates from property, construction, asset management, consultancy, contractor-side, local authority or wider public sector backgrounds who can demonstrate strong delivery, sound judgement and commercial awareness. If you can lead people, manage budgets, work confidently with contractors and deliver projects safely, effectively and within agreed time and cost parameters, this role offers the chance to apply those skills in a purpose-led organisation with a strong community focus.

Knowledge of social housing is welcome, but it is not essential.
