We are advertising the post of Housing Officer.  We are currently looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic, dedicated individual who is solution focussed and will use their initiative, experience and skills to help us provide a first-class housing management service.

You will have experience working in a housing association or co-operative specifically in the housing management section and proven excellent customer service skills.

You will work closely with the Housing Manager with leading and motivating the housing management team to deliver a first-class service to all residents.  You will take a lead role in us achieving our organisational values and objectives.

To succeed in this role, you should be confident working within a performance culture where you will be expected to deliver excellent results.  You will be a visible, reassuring presence in the community.

You will work within the housing management team and deliver core social housing management tasks including estate management, income management, allocations and also deal effectively with day to day challenges such as complaints and anti-social behaviour.  You will be familiar with the wider context of social housing in Scotland including the Social Housing Charter and confident working to and further developing our housing related policies and procedures, aspiring to deliver best practice and services at all times.

You will always think of the customer when making decisions whilst being mindful of our Business Plan and organisational values and objectives.

Applicants must have experience of working in a housing management setting and display the highest standards of communication, administration and IT skills.

You will have experience of managing arrears and anti-social behavior cases.
We are a community-controlled housing co-operative based in Easterhouse, Glasgow and presently own and manage approximately 750 homes.

The co-operative has historically defined itself as being more than a housing provider, delivering a wide range of social and welfare activities vital to our local community.
