Founded in 1974, Tollcross Housing Association is managed by a voluntary Management Committee, which is supported by our Chief Executive, Leadership Team, Senior Management Team, and by our wider staff team of over 40 individuals working in Housing Services, Maintenance, Finance and Corporate Services. Tenants and customers are at the heart of our business and great customer experience drives our priorities, and together, our staff provide a wide range of housing services to customers within our 2,300 houses and flats in local communities in Tollcross, Carmyle, Lilybank and Newbank.  In addition to providing factoring services to over 500 residential and commercial owners, we have recently set up a subsidiary to manage mid-market rented properties.

We now have an opportunity to seek to recruit a forward-thinking, energised, highly motivated professional to work in our dynamic organisation, who can match our enthusiasm and track record in providing a customer focused service.

This post is based in Tollcross and attracts excellent conditions including 40 days annual leave (including public holidays) per year; flexible working and access to the Scottish Housing Association Pension Scheme.

EVH GRADE 8 (£39,286 - £43,185)

The postholder will jointly manage the housing management functions with another Housing Manager to ensure the Association delivers high quality and cost efficient housing management services, meeting the housing needs of tenants, owner-occupiers and other customers.   You will assist to develop and implement Association policies, ensuring legal requirements, regulatory compliance and best practice is achieved.  You should have a strong managerial background or be able to demonstrate the ability to support and develop staff to maximise commitment to continuous improvement and excellent performance, leading to high levels of customer satisfaction.  

The successful candidate will be educated to a degree standard in a relevant discipline or able to demonstrate relevant experience.  We will require you to be able to demonstrate a sound grasp of relevant legislation as well as social housing regulation.  The role requires a reliable individual with high standards of accuracy, numeracy and attention to detail, along with excellent communication and IT skills as well as a flexible and enthusiastic approach.
