Hours: Full Time, 35 hours per week with flexi time and hybrid working available.
Note: this role requires staff to be available to answer the telephone/office visitors during our opening times of 9am-12.30pm and 1.30pm-5pm so flexibility is generally agreed in advance between the team.

We are seeking a Customer Services assistant to join our fantastic front line team providing excellent services to our residents, factored owners and applicants. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality service and work as an integral part of our team.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide front line customer service and administrative support
  • Act as the first point of contact for our residents
  • Liaise with residents, contractors, and internal teams
  • Keep accurate records and ensure smooth communication

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • A team player with a can-do attitude
  • Experience in repairs and maintenance with an ability to identify safeguarding, hazardous, or health and safety issues (e.g. no heating, water leaks or electrical faults) and escalate appropriately whilst providing calm and clear instructions

WHA are members of the Scottish Housing Associations’ Pension Scheme with options of DC pension schemes for incoming employees to choose from. The rates which will be on offer from 6th April 2025 will be:

  • Scheme 1: Employee 3% / Employer 6%
  • Scheme 2: Employee 5% / Employer 10%
  • Scheme 3: Employee 7% / Employer 12%

Scheme 3 will increase at a 1% incremental rate (for both Employer and employee) on an annual basis until it reaches the rates of 10% Employee and 15% Employer contribution in April 2028.
