Established in July 1977 as one of Scotland’s first community-based Housing Associations, we have a strong track record of development, innovation and fantastic work in the local community.

From our first acquisition in 1977 we now have a total stock exceeding 1700 units and also provide a factoring service to around 400 local owners. The stock comprises of both pre 1919 sandstone tenement properties and new build energy efficient houses and flats. The Group also now comprises: Parkhead Lettings; Parkhead Development; and parkhead schoolhouse.

We are positioned adjacent to the 2014 Commonwealth Games Village site and near both Parkhead Stadium, and the Emirates Arena. At the centre of the area is the second most important civic realm in the city; Parkhead Cross, which is a conservation area hosting 2 grade A listed and 2 grade B listed buildings.

Our current post holder has recently retired and so we wish to offer the right person a unique opportunity to help us further improve the lives of people living within our local area.

You will be joining an ambitious and well governed organisation and will inherit a high performing Management Team.

The successful candidate will be both passionate about, and committed to, our vision and mission to remain an independent locally controlled Association which builds, manages and maintains our stock to the highest standards. You will demonstrate a solid track record gained in social housing and will exhibit significant managerial work experience including inspiring, developing and managing staff effectively. We are a community centred organisation which believes in strong partnership working. We are also committed to delivering excellent services; and always in a fully transparent fashion underpinned by demonstrable integrity in all that we do. We need our next Chief Executive to fully support these values.
