The Association was formed in 1984 to improve the housing stock, and regenerate more widely, the central and east areas of the town, and now offers over 1,100 properties within our areas of operation. We have invested heavily in improving and building homes over the last 35+ years and remain an active and ambitious developer which seeks to offer our community more than a home.
We are managed by a voluntary, unpaid, committee of management made up of local people, many of whom are tenants.
Our current post holder is about to leave us, and so we offer an exciting opportunity for the right person to continue to drive our high ambitions.
The successful candidate will be both passionate about, and committed to, our vision to remain an independent locally controlled Association which builds, manages and maintains stock to the highest standards. You will demonstrate a solid track record gained in social housing and will exhibit significant senior level work experience including inspiring, developing and managing staff. We need you to also share our core values in all that you do:

You should be educated to tertiary level and preferably also hold Chartered Institute of Housing membership, and with an outstanding record of successful partnership working with external agencies and other stakeholders. You will be a leader with presence; able to influence appropriately at all levels, along with possessing high levels of business acumen and skills in social entrepreneurship,
