Assistant Housing Officer
Cernach Housing Association is a successful and well performing community-based registered social landlord (RSL) operating in the Drumchapel area in north west Glasgow since 1991. We own 877 homes and we provide a management service to 17 sharing owners and 140 homeowners. We act as community anchor organisation for Drumchapel. Our turnover is £4.47 million, a major part of which comes from rental income.
Due to a recent re-structuring within the housing management team, we are looking to recruit a highly motivated, committed and experienced individual to join our staff team as an Assistant Housing Officer.
You will have a track record of working in, or be able to show a firm commitment to, the registered social landlord sector. Whilst you will have the support of an excellent and experienced team, you should be able to work on your own initiative. You will have the motivation to achieve personal and corporate objectives. You will take responsibility for organising your own workload and managing competing priorities. Have the desire to make a difference to our organisation.
You should possess strong interpersonal and ICT skills and be familiar with MS Office. Possession of a further or higher educational qualification in a discipline relevant to the post or equivalent would be an advantage.
Applicants should note that, due to the nature of this post, some limited evening and weekend work may be required.
35 hours per week, flexible working hours, SHAPS defined contribution pension scheme, 25 days’ annual leave and 15 days’ public holiday per annum
