We are delighted to be recruiting for an Asset and Compliance Manager — a key leadership role in our Property and Development Directorate. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a vital service that helps ensure our homes remain safe, compliant, efficient and welcoming for our customers now and in the future.

What We’re Looking For

A relevant professional qualification, degree-level qualification or equivalent senior experience in asset management, property, construction, surveying, housing, compliance, landlord health and safety or a related discipline.
Significant experience in a property, asset management, compliance, repairs, maintenance, construction, housing, facilities management or similarly regulated service environment.
Strong leadership, people management and coaching skills, with the ability to set direction, build confidence, support performance and create a positive team culture.
Experience of using asset, compliance, stock condition, repairs, customer, contractor or performance information to inform decisions, assurance, improvement and service planning.
Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to interpret evidence, performance information, financial information and customer insight, and translate this into clear priorities and improvement actions.

Reporting to the Director of Property and Development, you will:

Provide visible senior leadership for the Asset and Compliance team, ensuring CVG’s homes and related assets are safe, compliant, well maintained and supported by strong landlord health and safety assurance.
Lead the strategic use of stock condition information, EPC data, repairs trends, compliance evidence, customer insight and lifecycle intelligence to inform investment decisions, asset planning and long-term service improvement.
Embed a strong culture of safety, compliance, accountability, assurance and evidence-led decision making across the team and wider organisation.
Develop a high-performing, confident and customer-focused team through supportive leadership, clear direction, coaching, performance management and continuous improvement.
Oversee compliance programmes to ensure inspections, servicing, certification, remedial works and assurance evidence are completed within required timescales.
Use asset intelligence to identify homes, components and archetypes that should be prioritised for investment, retrofit, technical review or future option appraisal.
Ensure high-quality data supports 30-year investment planning, component renewal, lifecycle forecasting, budget planning, value for money and effective risk management.
