Equality Impact Assessment Strategic Masterclass
19 May 2026 9:30 am - 11:30 am
Following on from the initial training last year, we are delighted to be working with Aneela McKenna founder of Mòr Diversity again. Aneela will be continuing the work we started by turning insights into action in the Equality Impact Assessment Strategic Masterclass on Tuesday 19 May 2026.
The initial training, Elevate Your Impact, provided the essential roadmap for Equality Impact Assessments (EIAs). Now, it’s time to shift from understanding the process to mastering the application. In this two-hour Masterclass, we move past the 'what' and 'why' to focus on the implementation of the EIA framework. This session is designed for those ready to turn compliance into a powerful tool for organisational excellence and evidence-based decision-making.
What we will cover:
- Learn how to use the EIA process to provide a rigorous, defensible foundation for organisational policy shifts.
- Refine your data-gathering approach to create a strong evidence base for your policy positions.
- Look beyond the basic checklist to identify the unintended consequences in organisational policies.
- Engage in hands-on drafting of an EIA and peer-review to build confidence in the process and ensure your outcomes are robust.
By the end of the Masterclass, you’ll have a refined evidence base and a draft ready to stand up to scrutiny and drive inclusive change.
This masterclass will be held online via Zoom from 9.30am – 11.30am. It has been specifically designed for anyone involved in shaping internal people and culture-led policies or reviewing and redesigning how services reach customers and the wider community.
Please note this is a member only event and there will be a charge of £45 + VAT per delegate. Bookings can be made by completing the booking form in the downloads section and emailing Events@evh.org.uk.
