Voluntary Role

Do you want to help improve the lives of others in the Stirling area?

Forth Housing Association is a registered Scottish charity and social landlord who owns over 900 affordable, high quality, rented homes in the Stirling area.  We are recruiting for new Management Committee members to compliment and strengthen our committee to deliver our strategic objectives.

We are committed to promoting equality, valuing diversity, and challenging prejudice and discrimination in all its forms. We aim to ensure that membership and participation in the governance of our organisation is open to everyone, and applications are welcome from all.  We would particularly welcome interest from

  • our tenants and members of their household
  • individuals with skills and experience in finance, development, asset management or housing management
  • our sharing owners and members of their household
  • residents in areas where we provide housing

We will reimburse out of pocket expenses, including childcare and travelling costs for attending meetings. We also provide induction training together with supporting ongoing personal development. As well as helping to improve the lives of others, you will be helping to develop the communities of Stirling and eastern villages.

Time commitment – The Management Committee normally meets eight times a year, usually on a Tuesday evening between 6.30pm and 8.30pm, with an additional strategy planning event once a year and occasional training sessions

These meetings are in person with the option to attend remotely by Teams.
