EVH – supporting social employers is an employers federation in the voluntary sector, the only one of its kind in Scotland. We have more than 150 employer members throughout the country, employing between them over 3,000 staff.
Due to internal promotions within our team, an exciting and rarely available opportunity has now become available for an HR Advisor to join our team.
We are a small, dynamic and buoyant team offering excellent terms including good flexibility in working hours, a generous annual leave entitlement and a pleasant working environment. Although currently working remotely, EVH will be considering hybrid working arrangements on a longer-term basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to further develop their career within a successful and professional HR & Recruitment services provider.
We can offer you the opportunity to work as part of a unique HR & Recruitment team where you will provide seamless and professional support to our members. You will provide advice, support and guidance to members on employment matters ensuring that legislation and best practice is maintained. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in various projects, events and deliver training within your role.
As the successful candidate you will demonstrate the following:
- Practical HR knowledge, skills and experience
- Ability to pragmatically apply HR knowledge and skills towards promoting solutions to problems
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Fully competent in the use of IT
- Ability to work well as part of a team
A full face to face induction will take place in our office with EVH colleagues, allowing the successful candidate to understand the work we do and meet the team.
