About Us

Cernach Housing Association is a successful and well performing community-based registered social landlord (RSL) operating in Drumchapel, North west Glasgow since 1991.  We own 877 homes and we provide a management service to 17 sharing owners and 140 homeowners.  We act as community anchor organisation for Drumchapel.  Our turnover is £4.6 million, a major part of which comes from rental income.

About the Role

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, committed and enthusiastic individual to join our staff team as a Corporate Services Assistant.  Reporting to the Corporate Services Officer, you will fulfill a pivotal and front-facing role in an effective and customer-focused team. You will carry out reception duties, assist in the efficient running of a busy office and provide administrative support to the finance and corporate services team.  You should be able to work with minimal supervision and it is critical that you are a team player. You should be able to commit to occasional evening work to help support our Management Committee as and when required.

You Should

You should ideally have front-line customer service experience, as well as experience in an administrative role, but drive, enthusiasm and a customer-focused approach is just as important.  A passion and commitment to the social housing sector is essential. You should possess strong interpersonal and ICT skills and be familiar with MS Office.  An HNC (or equivalent) in a discipline relevant to the post would be an advantage but is not essential.

Inclusive Employer

Disabled applicants who meet the essential criteria outlined in the person specification will be granted an interview if they opt to participate in the job interview guarantee scheme.

The Association is an equal opportunity employer.
