Drumchapel Housing Co-operative Ltd is a community-based housing co-operative in the Drumchapel area of Glasgow. Our mission of delivering and supporting quality affordable homes and all inclusive living is at the heart of what we do.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate and Governance Officer to join our team. This varied role offers you the opportunity to deliver effective support to the Senior Management Team and our Board of Management in all aspects of Governance, Administration, Human Resources and Health & Safety.

This role will provide you with the opportunity for:

  • Collaborative Working: as a team player, you will work with colleagues across the organisation adopting a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Continuous Improvement: leveraging your proven corporate and governance experience to help shape and refine our processes.
  • Effective Communication: leading the Co-operatives’ Communication Group you will be key in developing effective communication both internally and externally.
  • Customer Focus: through your varied workload, you can have a positive impact on a range of customers both internal and external.

We are looking for a colleague with:

  • Experience of providing a corporate and governance service.
  • An understanding of working to support Boards and committees.
  • High levels of self-motivation, along with strong interpersonal skills to build working relationships within the team.
  • A desire to work in a fast paced role undertaking a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities.
  • A customer centred approach, committed to the principles of delivering excellent services in social rented housing.
  • A commitment to high levels of personal and professional integrity.
