Following on from our last successful mindfulness session, we are delighted to announce another free session to all our members.

The topic for this session is “Switching Off: Finding Calm for Your Summer Break”. Join us on Tuesday 7 July at 10am for one hour with Martin Stepek, one of Scotland’s foremost teachers of mindfulness.  In a busy and demanding role, taking time to properly rest and recharge is essential.  This is often easier said than done when the summer months can cause even greater workload - as customer pressures continue you may find yourself running on empty trying to cover staffing gaps for your colleagues’ annual leave, just before you’re due to wind down on your own break.  This practical and supportive mindfulness session explores how to manage stress during busy periods, create small moments of calm throughout the day, and make it easier to mentally switch off from work when time off finally arrives.  Through guided mindfulness practices and simple wellbeing tools, you’ll leave feeling calmer, more grounded, and better equipped to recharge over the summer period, which is crucial to your personal wellbeing as well as your long-term resilience at work.

This session is free for members to attend however we require all delegates to pre-book their place.  Please note that bookings which are withdrawn without a substitution 48 hours before the event will be charged a £20 administration fee (this will be donated to CHAS) as will those who do not attend.  We will accept substitutions at any time.
