Join us on Thursday 23 July for a Health & Safety Webinar which will focus on Emerging Risks in Employer’s Liability: What EVH Members Need to Know.  Vikki Watt, Head of BTO Solicitors LLP’s Band 1 ranked Health and Safety Team, will provide a practical and timely webinar exploring the fast-moving health, safety and liability risks facing employers in the RSL sector.

This session will include:

• How employer duties are evolving to cover mental wellbeing as well as physical safety in the workplace.
• Why drug and alcohol policies need fresh attention in the age of online prescriptions, especially given increased prescribing of controlled drugs.
• The key risk areas to consider when employees are driving for work.
• How AI is beginning to shape health and safety management — and where employers should proceed with care.
• An update on the key public liability issues, including Awaab’s Law, and what it may mean for housing providers and those managing risks to service users.

This webinar will highlight the practical steps organisations can take now to strengthen compliance, manage risk, and avoid common pitfalls.

This session will be held online via Zoom from 10.00am – 11.00am.  It is suitable for anyone within your organisation who has responsibilities for employer health and safety, and/or Landlord/Tenant health & safety.
