Health & Safety Forum February

EVH in association with ACS are delighted to invite you our first Health & Safety Forum of the year.  This session is free and will be held in Betty’s Room, 5th Floor 137 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, G2 3EW on Wednesday 25 February 2026. Registration and networking will start at 9.15am, and tea and coffee will be available.  The session will commence at 9.30am and conclude at 12.30pm.

The topic for this session will be on “Construction Design Management (CDM)”.  The CDM Regulations 2015 are designed to ensure that the risks associated with construction work are properly managed.  The CDM Regulations apply to any building, civil engineering or engineering construction work and includes the construction, alteration, conversion, fitting out, commissioning, renovation, repair, upkeep, redecoration, other maintenance, de-commissioning, demolition or dismantling of a structure.

The Forum will cover

  • An overview of the CDM Regulations 2015.
  • The key elements to ensuring construction health and safety are complied with.
  • The importance of defining the various duty holders’ roles within a construction project.
  • Documentation requirements during a construction project.

The session will be led by Emma Willey, Managing Director, ACS Learning & Consultancy and is aimed at any staff or management with responsibility for health and safety.
