EVH Member Information Exchange - Dec 2023

This was the first of our new quarterly EVH Member Information Exchange (formerly known as Management Committee meetings). This session took place in Betty’s Room at EVH offices, 5th Floor, 137 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, G2 3EW on Monday 4 December 2023. It was well attended by members and great to see so many people back in Betty's Room again!
The initial part of the meeting started with some group discussion and covered:
1. News or highlights from your organisation in 2023
2. Plans or ideas to help tenants during winter months
3. Newsworthy projects planned for your organisation in 2024
We then shared some information from organisations who had some newsworthy news and this can be found in the dedicated Member Information page. Just click on the related page section to take you there and you can see some of the achievements and great work members have been doing throughout 2023 or have plans for the year ahead.
This was followed by a re-presentation of the Long Service Award to some of the winners of this award who have throughout 2023 reached the 25 years and beyond magic number for service. All the winners for 2023 were:

Charlie Millar, Forgewood Housing Co-operative - 25 years’ service
John Burton, Forgewood Housing Co-operative - 25 years' service
David Rose, Homes for Life Housing Partnership - 25 years' service, he is also a member of our Executive Committee and is our Vice Chair
Flora Wallace, Paragon Housing Association - 30+ years’ service, she is also a member of the Executive Committee and is our Treasurer
Billy Stevenson, Knowes Housing Association - 30 years' service
Carla Cameron, Finance & Corporate Service Team Leader - Dalmuir Park Housing Association - 30 years' service
Eileen MacDonald, Income Maximisation Officer – West of Scotland Housing Association – 30 years’ service
Margaret Torrance, Director - Paragon Housing Association for 30+ years' service
Siobhan Anderson, Housing Officer - Paragon Housing Association for 30 years' service
Fiona White, Finance & Corporate Services Manager - Clydebank Housing Association for 30 years' service
The meeting then closed with some festive fun and entertainment from Edward Reid and finished with some Christmas nibbles and drinks.
