March 2023 Management Committee Meeting

The last Management Committee meeting took placeonline via Zoom on Monday 6 March 2023 at 7.00pm.

Our speaker this month was Kirsty Hill, Regional Director for Scotland from The Dollywood Foundation.  She shared their vision and ambition that all families with children under five living in Scotland will be able to experience the magic of the Imagination Library.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a book gifting programme devoted to inspiring a love of reading in the hearts of children everywhere.  With help from partners, the Imagination Library posts over 2 MILLION books to children under five every single month!

The Dollywood Foundation works with Local Partners who help bring the Imagination Library to cities, towns and communities.  Many Housing Associations across Scotland are acting as a local partner in their community and are helping children living in their homes grow up surrounded by books.

The next meeting will be on 5 June 2023.
