Based in Linwood Linstone is a registered social landlord and a charity that owns and manages approximately 1600 properties, providing affordable rented and supported housing, as well as providing factoring services to a further 2000 owner occupiers.

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated Housing Support Officer to join our Housing Services Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a housing support service to residents of our two sheltered housing schemes in Johnstone and Paisley.
Relevant experience of working in social care and of working with older adults would be advantageous. In addition, the successful candidate will have excellent communication skills; be a good listener and committed to supporting, encouraging, and enabling tenants to make informed choices in maintaining their independence and personal dignity. You should be able to work alone and as part of a team and uphold the highest levels of confidentiality.
SVQ Social Services and Healthcare at SCQF Level 6 or other relevant qualification to enable registration with the SSSC as a Support Worker in a Housing Support Service is essential.
A current driving licence and access to a car would be desirable.
This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with adults.
