Finance Administrator

We are seeking to recruit a full time, permanent Finance Administrator to join our Finance Team. The Association provides customer focused housing management and factoring services to around 1500 tenants and factoring owners in the Forth Valley area. The Finance Team is key to supporting this and ensuring value for money.

The post holder will require to work as part of the Finance Team and there is interaction with other departments so good communication is key.

Duties will include

  • complete the daily transactions for income collection
  • complete the daily transactions of the purchase ledger
  • reconcile the banking and cash book
  • prepare month end journals to post transactions and correct mis-postings
  • complete the posting of additions and disposals to the fixed asset register
  • proactively make suggestions for improvement and fix issues at source
  • to support with the annual rent increase process
  • to support with budget preparation
  • contribute to the review and development of policies and procedures

  • proven organisational abilities
  • confident use of IT systems

This is a permanent post. The post is 35 hours per week with flexible working hours depending on service requirements and there may be a requirement for some out of hours working. The Association is currently operating a hybrid working system and there may be a requirement to work from home at some times.
