Customer Services Manager Housing
Govan Housing Association is a community focused Registered Social Landlord based in Govan, Glasgow. The Association itself possesses a rich history and one of development and innovation. Founded in 1971, the Association was the first community based housing provider, leading the way for social housing provision in Scotland. After over 40 years of operating in the housing sector, the Association now manages approximately 1,600 socially rented properties and over 600 factored properties as well as taking an active role in the regeneration of the area and continuing to improve the quality of life of residents.
We have an ambitious vision for the future and have structured our business to allow us to focus on our future plans. We are now looking for the right person to help us achieve this.
Due to internal promotion, we are seeking to employ an experienced and customer focused individual to manage the delivery of our key strategic and operational objectives within our Customer Services & Community Engagement Team in order to achieve resident-led, continuous improvement. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to implement service improvements and deliver customer value and value for money through effective operational performance management of Govan Housing Associations’ housing management community engagement services.
The role will have line management responsibility for the Customer Services & Community Engagement team and you should have recent experience of successfully managing and supporting staff to achieve targets and objectives.
A positive, flexible attitude with a commitment to providing excellent customer service is required, as is a working knowledge of community engagement. The post will include some home visits and may require occasional evening/weekend working.
