Customer Engagement Co-Ordinator Opportunity
Salary:  £29,648 to £32,088 (FTE) plus Car Allowance
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We are a non-profit organisation with charitable status committed to providing a wide range of housing, care and support services to enable older people in Scotland lead independent and fulfilling lives.  This is an exciting and challenging time to join Bield and the role of Customer Engagement Coordinator offers a unique opportunity to join our operational team to support tenancy sustainment and develop local customer engagement initiatives.  This role, based in our Glasgow Office will work closely with colleagues and customers across our Amenity, Retirement Housing, Retirement Housing with Meals and Retirement Plus Services in Glasgow, East Dunbartonshire, North and South Lanarkshire and Falkirk areas.

A trusted and knowledgeable housing specialist you will
*Provide best practice advice and guidance to colleagues and customers support the sustainment of tenancies, including managing complex tenancy sustainment cases and providing welfare benefits advice to our customers.
*Work closely with colleagues – Local Managers and Area Managers – to develop customer engagement initiatives and to promote community engagement and social activities in our developments.
*Support our volunteering services and provide up to date information about volunteering opportunities and requirements.
*Support the implementation of customer standards and contribute to the development of relevant policies and procedures
Role requirements

You will have the ability to prioritise, work effectively under pressure and provide clear and consistent advice across a range of tenancy sustainment activities.  Confident, resilient with strong communication skills and the ability to influence customers and colleagues, you will have a successful track record in resolving issues that affect the sustainment of individual tenancies in an organisation of similar size and complexity.

You will have demonstrable experience of the type of problems facing older people, knowledge of housing legislation with respect to tenancy sustainment, customer service and the range of services available to support older people. Ideally, you will also bring experience in housing together with significant experience of coaching colleagues and supporting volunteering services or implementing community engagement initiatives.

You should be educated to at least HND level in a housing/ social care related discipline or have a substantial relevant experience gained in a similar role. CIH Level 4 qualification is desirable.  A full valid UK driving licence is an essential requirement. This post also requires a PVG check from Disclosure Scotland.
