GWHA operates within a mature set of multi-tenure, inner city neighbourhoods, in the Anderston, Burnbank Gardens, Hillhead, Kelvingrove, Hyndland and Partick communities, in the West of Glasgow. The area consists mainly of tenure invisible, high density pre-1919 tenemental stock, with few gap sites and infrequent, challenging, development opportunities.
We are proud of our resilience and roots; originating from Hillhead HA in 1978 and maturing through the successful fusion of 7 housing stock transfers; 5 from local housing associations and 2 from Glasgow Housing Association.
GWHA employs 60 staff, owns 1486 houses and through our subsidiary, Glasgow West Enterprises Ltd, provides factoring services to 581 residential and commercial owners.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to lead the Services Team, developing and driving sustainable, robust, divisional strategies, policies and performance and the promotion of GWHA’s vision and values, through effective leadership, direction and alignment of corporate planning and services.
The successful candidate will have significant experience of leading multi-disciplinary teams, be a confident leader and ambassador with a commitment to community controlled ethos and GWHA values. You will demonstrate leadership of complex projects and assets, sound judgement, strong analytic skills and creative and innovative thinking.
Possession of a tertiary level qualification, a management qualification and/or CIH membership would be desirable.
