Govanhill Housing Association is a community-controlled Association.  We own and manage around 2,700 homes and provide a Factoring Service to a further 1,500 owners. We have a substantial Major Repairs and Planned Maintenance Programme and are involved in wider regeneration activity through our subsidiary company Govanhill Community Development Trust.

We are seeking an experienced Finance Clerical Assistant to provide finance services and admin support to a busy Finance Team which works at the heart of the activities of the Association and its subsidiary Govanhill Community Development Trust.  We are looking for someone who can process high volumes of transactions quickly and accurately, with a drive to find continuous improvements and efficiencies from our systems.  Suitable candidates must demonstrate attention to detail and have excellent IT skills with experience in working with computerised systems and databases.

The successful candidate will be committed to excellent customer care and work well as a member of a small team.

The core requirements of the post include:
Maintaining purchase and nominal ledgers and processing weekly supplier payments.
Providing support to the rest of the Finance Team and cover as required.
