Finance Assistant/Room Hire Co-ordinator
EVH is proudly celebrating its 40th Anniversary this year with a variety of initiatives. What better time to join our small, dynamic team in supporting our diverse group of members throughout Scotland in this newly created role? #evhbig40
We exist to support social employers with all aspects of their employment relationships. This can take many forms, from telephone advice to bespoke HR services and events/training opportunities. We also always look for ways to further enhance membership beyond the core services, one of which is offering affordable room hire for meetings, training, and events in our Glasgow city centre location - and this is where part of this position comes in.
This is a special opportunity, the kind that does not come around very often. It would be ideally suited to someone who has a passion for finance work but who would welcome the variety of blending their time with something completely different.
The Finance Assistant part of the role would see you support the team will all aspects of financial processing for the organisation, with support from senior colleagues. The other part of your job would predominately be co-ordinating our room hire service, having responsibility for all duties relating to this. The ability to effectively manage your time between these two differing functions and enthusiastically carry out the work involved is key to the success of this post. Flexibility in terms of starting and finishing times to meet the demands of the room hire service is a must.
