Cunninghame Housing Association is the first Housing Association in Scotland (with more that 50 employees) to be awarded Investors in People Platinum, Investors in Young People Gold Accreditation and Investors in People Health & Wellbeing Good Practice Award.  With more than 2,500 properties in North and East Ayrshire the Association plans to build circa 500 plus houses in Dumfries & Galloway over the next 5 years. The Association aims to achieve excellence in service delivery to its customers and to assist in this we are looking to recruit an experienced Clerk of Works to work within our very busy Development & Care Services Department.

POST:  Clerk of Works
GRADE: Grade 7 (PA22 – PA25)
SALARY: £31,282– £34,350

Reporting to the Executive Director of Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring that our house building contract works are carried out to the highest quality standards. A strong team player with a customer focused approach to work you will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.  Applicants must have extensive technical knowledge of house construction and ideally have membership of a relevant professional organisation.

With a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Clerk of Works in the housing sector, you will be able to prioritise a demanding workload and work with minimal supervision.
(A Full Driving License is essential for this post and access to a company vehicle will be provided).

This post will be based in Cunninghame Housing Association’s new offices in Dumfries
