Department: Care & Repair
Reports to: Care & Repair Manager
Supervises: Project Assistant
Location: Cloch’s offices at 19 Bogle Street, Greenock, PA15 1ER
Inverclyde Council funds the Care & Repair service and we have been appointed as the managing agent for the service with the current contract ending on 31 March 2019.
Care & Repair helps older and disabled homeowners and private tenants with advice and practical assistance with housing repairs, improvements, adaptation, and small repairs enabling them to remain in their own homes.
The successful candidate will require proven organisational and communication skills, have a caring and sensitive approach to clients, and have the ability to establish positive and trusting relationships.
You will also possess excellent IT skills, have experience of project management and a working knowledge of basic building defects and repair options. Ideally, you will be educated to (at least) HNC/HND level in an appropriate discipline and a full driving licence and access to your own transport.
