Grading and Salaries
From 1st April 2018, the current hourly rates will increase as follows: -

National Living Wage
25 years and over – increase from £7.50 to £7.83

National Minimum Wage
21 to 24 years – increase from £7.05 to £7.38
18 to 20 years – increase from £5.60 to £5.90
16 to 17 years – increase from £4.05 to £4.20 (not apprentices)
Apprentices – increase from £3.50 to £3.70 (under 19 or in first year of apprenticeship)

The Scottish National Living Wage will also increase from £8.45 to £8.75 an hour.

It is a criminal offence not to pay the National Living Wage/ National Minimum Wage or to keep records to prove your organisation does this.
